Gross Paycheck Comparison
Compare estimated and employer-reported gross pay for the same period.
Compare like with like
Use the same pay period and gross amounts before deductions. Subtract employer-reported gross from your estimate. An estimate of $950 and reported gross of $940 gives a $10 difference.
A difference is a starting point
Check whether all shifts, breaks, premiums and payroll adjustments are included. Net take-home pay includes taxes and deductions and should not be compared directly with gross pay.
Limits
This tool compares two amounts; it does not calculate taxes or establish whether wages were legally owed. Use the workspace to calculate estimates from dated shifts and save period comparisons.
